Delhi - Haridwar - Rishikesh ( 260km | 7 hours )

  • Arrive in Delhi in the morning. Freshen up and get ready as we begin our scenic drive towards the spiritual town of Rishikesh.
  • Settle into our private vehicle and enjoy the changing landscapes as the plains slowly give way to the Himalayan foothills. Relax, interact with fellow travelers, or simply soak in the journey.
  • We will take a comfortable halt en route for lunch.
  • If time permits, we will stop at Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti — a divine and soul-stirring experience (subject to arrival timings).
  • Reach Rishikesh by late evening. Check in to the hotel, freshen up, and assemble with the group for dinner.

Rishikesh - Guptkashi / Sitapur ( 200km | 9 hours )

  • Post breakfast, pack your bags as we begin our journey towards the base region — Guptkashi / Sitapur (depending on stay allocation).
  • As we drive through the scenic Himalayan roads, we witness the sacred confluence at Devprayag, where the rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi merge to form the holy Ganga River. This divine Sangam is a truly mesmerizing sight and an important spiritual landmark of Uttarakhand.
  • Further en route, we visit the revered Dhari Devi Temple, dedicated to Goddess Kali. Located beautifully on the banks of the Alaknanda River, the temple holds immense religious significance and is considered the guardian deity of the Char Dham region.
  • The journey today is long but incredibly picturesque — filled with river views, mountain curves, and peaceful valleys.
  • Upon reaching the base village, check in to the hotel/camp and take proper rest. Tomorrow is going to be a big and spiritually uplifting trekking day.

Day 4

Guptkashi / Sitapur - Kedarnath ( 50km | 2 hours)

  • It’s an early wake-up call today as we begin our journey towards the sacred shrine of Kedarnath Temple.
  • Freshen up and get ready to depart. We drive approximately 2 hours from the base village to Sonprayag/Gaurikund, the starting point of our trek.
  • From here, begin the spiritual trek of around 20 km, which usually takes 8–10 hours depending on pace and weather conditions. The trail is filled with chants of “Har Har Mahadev,” breathtaking mountain views, and the powerful presence of nature all around.
  • For those who prefer not to trek, options like pony/horse ride or pittu (porter service) are available at an additional cost.
  • Upon reaching Kedarnath, check in to the homestay/guesthouse and take some time to relax. Later, visit the divine Kedarnath Temple for darshan and soak in the unmatched spiritual energy of this sacred Jyotirlinga nestled in the Himalayas.
  • Capture memories, take photographs, and experience a moment that truly feels like a dream fulfilled.

Kedarnath - Guptkashi / Sitapur ( 50km | 2 hours)

  • Visit the temple one last time for blessings before we begin our descent. After darshan, start the trek back to the base (approx. 20 km). Take your time, capture a few stunning pictures of the valley, and soak in the final views of this sacred land.
  • Upon reaching the base, enjoy a hearty meal to recharge after the long trek.
  • Later, we drive back towards Sitapur / Guptkashi. (as per stay allocation).
  • Check in to the hotel and take well-deserved rest after a spiritually fulfilling and physically rewarding day.

Guptkashi / Sitapur to Badrinath ( 200km | 8 hours )

  • Post breakfast, we begin our scenic drive towards Badrinath, one of the most sacred Char Dham destinations dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
  • The drive is long but extremely picturesque, passing through beautiful valleys, river confluences, and dramatic Himalayan landscapes. En route, we cross Joshimath and continue ascending towards Badrinath.
  • Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and freshen up. Later, visit the sacred Badrinath Temple for darshan and evening aarti (subject to timing).
  • Spend your evening soaking in the spiritual aura of the town.

Rishikesh - Delhi ( 246km | 6 hours)

  • Upon reaching Delhi, you may grab a quick snack or refreshments before we head to the railway station to board our train back to Mumbai.

  15. Sunglasses: Any dark color but blue. Sunglasses prevent snow blindness. Sunglasses are mandatory for this trek.

  21. Trekking pole: Trekking pole is mandatory. You can also rent a wooden stick from Gaurikund.
  22. Plastic covers: While packing, use plastic bags to compartmentalize things and carry a few extra plastic bags for wet clothes.

  24. Mandatory. All these things need to go into one backpack. So make sure they are all light and you carry as less as possible.

  • NOTE: Travellers residing outside Delhi are suggested to book trains/flights reaching Delhi not later than 11 AM on the trip start date. Similarly, on trip end date, book returning flight/trains leaving post 04 PM.
  • NOTE: Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of participants etc. May cause itinerary change. We reserve the rights to change any schedule in the interest of safety, comfort and general wellbeing.
  • NOTE: The age limit of our group departures is 16 to 42 years due to the power packed itineraries that we provide to our travellers. We can customise trips for travellers beyond the mentioned age bracket.

  • Kindly note that Bhatakna makes its tickets from IRCTC certified agents.
  • We use intelligent AI-based tools like ConfirmTicket to predict the confirmation probability of your ticket.
  • It is essential to note that the tool does not guarantee a 100% confirmation for Waitlisted and RAC tickets and Bhatakna does not hold any control over confirmation of tickets.
  • Incase train gets cancelled or the route gets changed due to any reason Bhatakna will not be responsible and alternate solution will be provided at monitory cost.
  • We advice to book your trip at least 30 days prior to improve your possibility of getting a confirmed tickets.
  • Kindly note that our team members will get in touch with you to provide alternate options for trains where you can hold a chance of a confirmed ticket which may have some monetary difference in the ticket amount which if you confirm to upgrade shall be liable to pay.
  • Incase the predictability tool doesn't work and you get a RAC or Waitlisted ticket, team Bhatakna wouldn't be responsible for it.
  • Incase the participant wants to cancel the train tickets & opt for flight, the cancellations charges would be applicable.
Safety Measures
  • If the Trip is cancelled from our end due to any natural calamities, government policy changes or unavoidable circumstances, minimal 7% amount will be deducted & for the remaining amount a Credit Note will be Provided to use on any other Trips.
  • In Case of Trip Extension due to Weather or any unforeseen conditions, Individual will have to pay 2500/- Cash Per Day to the Trip Leader on the spot.

  3. Cancellation between 30 days and 20 days before the starting date of the trek — Get 80% of the trek fee in an Bhatakna cupon OR get a monetary refund with 50% cancellation charges.
  4. Cancellation less than 20 days before the starting date of the trek — No monetary refund, get 50% of your fees in an Bhatakna Cupoun .
  5. Cancellation less than 15 days to Departure:No refund will be provided for any amount paid.
  6. Cancellation incase your not well and could not join:Incase you are unwell it is advisable to take rest however kindly note that you can find a replacement for yourself no refund or transfer is applicable incase of any illness or covid cases
